Julie Hoff has more than 35 years of litigation-related experience, concentrating her work on litigation technology, electronic discovery and litigation management. She has extensive experience with client services and information management initiatives within corporate law departments, government and law firm enterprises, on behalf of legal, risk, technology, records, and other departments. Julie’s recent work experience includes:
Advising clients on the development, documentation and implementation of cost effective and defensible solutions for handling information in and through the discovery phases of litigation and regulatory matters
Evaluating and assessing enterprise-wide electronic records retention programs
Facilitating the design and development of integrated discovery management programs and the implementation of litigation hold and information preservation technology solutions
Leading assessment and gap analyses during high-risk litigation matters related to vendor services to ensure defensibility
Advising and managing legal technology software selection on behalf of clients
Prior to joining Redgrave LLP, Julie served as the Director of Client Services at Redgrave Daley Ragan & Wagner LLP. In this role, she was responsible for the development and management of Client Services personnel, resources, services, and participated in general firm management. She also worked as the Director of Client Technology Services as Faegre & Benson LLP, where she led a staff of 55 legal technology professionals who provided technology solutions for clients, with a focus on managing electronic discovery projects for large litigation matters and national clients.
ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENT & MEMBERSHIPS:
Julie is significantly involved in the Hamline University eDiscovery Certificate Program, taking on various roles including Instructor, Advisory Board Member, Curriculum Committee Member and Volunteer Coordinator. She has served as a Technical Consultant for a variety of non-profit organizations, including Circus Juventas, a non-profit performing arts circus school for youth dedicated to inspiring artistry and self-confidence through a multicultural circus arts experience. In addition, Julie is the former President and Co-founder of the Minnesota Association of Litigation Support Managers.
Julie received a B.A. from St. Olaf College and a Litigation Certificate from the Institute for Paralegal Training.
