Simply stated, Sarah Hinks loves the law and is passionate about how the law functions to better society. Sarah has a broad range of litigation experience across multiple industries. Through a collaborative and servant-leader approach, Sarah works with clients to assess issues and offer the best solutions that are aligned with her clients’ needs.

Some of Sarah’s recent work experience includes:

  • Writing mediation demands and managing discovery, pleadings, and client interviews in coordinated proceedings with multiple plaintiffs
  • Legal research and writing relating to litigation and business issues
  • Pre-trial pleadings and motions practice
  • Negotiating settlements
  • Evaluating communication systems for compliance with regulatory and technical requirements

Prior to joining Redgrave LLP, Sarah was a Contract and Pro Bono Attorney at multiple law firms, working as a litigator in the Eviction Defense practice, designing communication systems, and handling discovery matters. Sarah also participated in a Cybersecurity Fellowship where she researched and updated all legal content for a cybersecurity web portal and drafted seminar handouts on privacy and data security.


Sarah is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the San Francisco Bar Association Justice & Diversity Center, where she serves as a Pro Bono Volunteer Attorney, and Tenants Together, where she serves as a Legal Clinic Volunteer. Sarah was honored by the San Francisco Bar Association in 2015 – 2017 with the Outstanding Volunteer Award. Sarah is an avid reader and is active in the book club she founded in 2000. She also loves to cook and has taken classes in Paris, Athens, Fes, and Barcelona.


Sarah received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A. from Hobart & William Smith Colleges. She also holds a fine arts degree from California College of the Arts. Sarah is admitted to practice in California.
