Gareth Evans Participates in The Sedona Conference Webinar on the Discovery of Collaboration Platforms Data

On April 29, 2025, Gareth Evans will participate in a webinar hosted by The Sedona Conference to discuss the Commentary on Discovery of Collaboration Platforms Data (the “Commentary”).

This Commentary provides foundational information regarding collaboration platforms and offers guidance on addressing legal issues and challenges likely to arise regarding the discovery of collaboration-platform-related electronically stored information. 

Gareth will join other Commentary drafting team members—Adam Gajadharsingh (Google), Derek McNally (New York City Law Department), Jonathan Swerdloff (Scott + Scott), and Cristin Traylor (Relativity)—to answer the following questions and solicit feedback:

• Why was the Commentary needed?
• What challenges is the industry facing with collaboration platforms data, and how does the Commentary address those challenges?
• Which issues addressed in the Commentary were more challenging than others, and how did the team come to a consensus on the more complicated issues?
• How will this Commentary move the law forward?
