With a background in civil litigation, Britney manages all aspects of the discovery process in complex matters, including class actions and government investigations.  Her work encompasses overseeing document collection and review, drafting discovery requests, and preparing witnesses for depositions.

Britney also works closely with testifying and consulting experts to prepare expert reports, prepares witnesses to testify, and takes and defends depositions, including corporate representative depositions.

Britney is a participating fellow in the Lawyers for Civil Justice Fellows Program.  She also has significant pro bono experience and has been repeatedly named to the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll by the District of Columbia Courts (High Honors 2019, Honors 2018). 

Before joining Redgrave, Britney worked as an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and was a law clerk at the United States Small Business Administration.

Britney’s work experience includes:

  • Advising large finance and insurance company in a multifaceted legal engagement comprising a group of cases in Oklahoma state court with complex discovery issues; work has included:
    • Handling extensive motions practice on electronic various problems, including motions for protective orders and ESI Protocols and responding to motions to compel, motions for sanctions, and motions to enforce
    • Assisting with deposition strategy and preparation, including identifying key areas of inquiry, drafting preparation materials, and preparing witnesses, including corporate representatives, to testify
    • Advising client and merits counsel of overarching discovery strategy and risk management across more than a dozen cases with overlapping discovery requests; role included coordinating document reviews, productions, and responses to discovery requests to ensure consistency across matters 
  • Conducting fact investigation for large finance and insurance company, including overseeing document review and drafting memorandum detailing findings regarding allegations of discriminatory claims handling
