Emma has extensive experience representing and advising Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation and regulatory matters.  Her work spans multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals, energy, construction, financial services, and media. 

Emma advises clients on developing and implementing comprehensive discovery strategies in litigation matters.  She works with clients across a full spectrum of eDiscovery needs and oversees wide-ranging discovery workflows, including preservation, collection, review, production, drafting pleadings and motions, and managing vendor relationships.  Emma leverages her understanding of emerging technology to streamline eDiscovery processes and manage large-scale document reviews efficiently.  In her work, Emma also focuses on advancing innovative strategies and providing clients with practical, cost-effective solutions to Information Law challenges.

Emma also has significant experience working on pro bono matters, such as obtaining asylum for an LGBTQ+ client and securing a landmark Supreme Judicial Court ruling on alimony in a divorce case.

Prior to joining Redgrave, Emma was an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.  During law school, Emma served as a member of the Virginia Law Review.  Emma’s District of Columbia application to practice is pending, and until approved, she is supervised by District of Columbia Firm Principals. 

Emma’s work experience includes:

  • Representing a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company in multiple enforcement actions by state attorneys general arising out of the opioids crisis, including preparing complex, fact-intensive expert witness reports and testimony, briefing dispositive motions and motions in limine, and supporting trial teams in dozens of jurisdictions across the country
  • Representing a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company in a securities class action arising out of a DOJ price-fixing investigation, coordinating with regulatory and multidistrict litigation teams across firms to ensure a consistent and efficient approach to massive electronic document review and production
  • Managing multiple law firms and contract review teams to collect, review, and produce 2 million documents for a leading medical device manufacturer in multidistrict litigation and related regulatory actions arising out of a product recall affecting 15 million ventilators and respiratory devices, as well as providing discovery support to counsel defending related actions in foreign jurisdictions
