James advises clients on eDiscovery issues in complex litigation and investigation matters.
At Redgrave, James works with the Review & Analytics team and clients with respect to data collection strategies, search creation, and the management of complex document reviews and productions using various review tools, including Relativity. He also trains review attorneys on project protocols and review guidelines.
James has counseled clients in a wide variety of matters, including commercial and securities litigation, auditor defense, internal investigations, and government investigations concerning the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and various OIGs. His work experience also includes pro bono immigration matters.
Prior to joining Redgrave, James was an attorney at McGuireWoods, LLP. He has also worked as a litigator with NOVA Business Law Group, LLP and as a project manager for Tower Legal Solutions. He served as a summer law clerk for the Baltimore City Circuit Court. During law school, James served as the Managing Editor of the University of Baltimore Intellectual Property Law Journal.
