Kim has extensive experience advising clients on eDiscovery and fact investigation work in various matters, including product liability and mass tort litigation matters, Second Requests for antitrust-related matters, and government investigations and enforcement actions.
At Redgrave, Kim manages document review teams, drafts review protocols and privilege lists, and conducts contract attorney document review training. She has a deep understanding of a range of eDiscovery document review platforms and conducts search term validation reviews and fact investigations, builds case chronologies, prepares and conducts quality control review of privilege logs, drafts discovery responses, and assists case teams in preparing for witness interviews and depositions.
In addition to her experience in matters concerning regulatory agencies, including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Kim has conducted discovery work on internal investigations, the False Claim Act (FCA), the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and tax controversy-related matters. She has also advised clients on information governance issues, including counseling clients on regulations and best practices for corporate record retention schedules and document retention policies.
Kim has significant pro bono experience and has represented clients in Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) and child custody matters for Maryland residents and provided pro bono services to District of Columbia residents seeking information about landlord-tenant legal disputes.
Prior to joining Redgrave, Kim was a staff attorney at Sidley Austin LLP. She also clerked for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and worked as an eDiscovery attorney and team lead for legal solutions and eDiscovery service providers.
