Michael brings over three decades of experience to his role as Executive Director at Redgrave, in which he directs and coordinates the Firm’s business, financial, and administrative operations, including developing and implementing strategic planning initiatives focused on firm growth and performance and leading efforts to define and achieve the Firm’s business and operations process goals.  He oversees and works directly with all administrative functions and teams at Redgrave and with the Firm’s Executive Committee to develop and execute long-range plans, strategies, and initiatives.

Michael also has an extensive background in overseeing the security and confidentiality of corporate and client information, including implementing processes to comply with policies, procedures, and regulations.  He has established cost-effective disaster recovery policies, information security compliance solutions, and validated electronic access control systems.  Michael’s technical experience also includes identifying opportunities for system upgrades to enhance user experience and functionality and advising on processes and procedures to assess and mitigate information assurance risks.  Additionally, he conducts risk assessments, both physical and technical, and develops mitigation and corporate compliance solutions.  Michael has extensive experience in translating technology solutions into enterprise policies, covering information security, HIPAA_HITECH, data privacy, disaster recovery, crisis management, and employment screening.

Prior to joining Redgrave, Michael served as an Administrator for a prominent regional law firm with over 100 lawyers.  Michael was also the Director of Information Assurance and Enterprise Security for an Am Law 50 law firm, overseeing global privacy, compliance, and service continuity solutions for legal and business clients.  Michael previously taught Risk Management as an Adjunct Professorial Lecturer at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Forensic Science.  He is a published author and has been cited by the media on topics related to biometrics, security, and disaster recovery.  Michael’s professional endorsements have included Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP).

Before entering the legal industry, Michael served as Platoon Commander, Training Manager, and Law Enforcement Supervisor in the U.S. Marine Corps.
