Having spent much of his career managing large-scale federal, state, and multidistrict litigation, Paul provides discovery support in all aspects of eDiscovery for complex and high-stakes matters. 

His work has included overseeing and executing eDiscovery processes, including data preservation and legal holds, collection, processing, review, and production, and harnessing analytics to assist with reviews.  He conducts fact development in Relativity, DISCO, and other data management platforms.  Paul also assists teams with developing discovery strategies and contributes advice on best practices, methods, and trends.

Paul’s prior experience includes in-house and law firm roles, including serving as Program Manager, eDiscovery at DISH Network, and Senior Litigation Paralegal at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Paul’s work experience includes:

  • Supporting an FDA-regulated company in national products liability litigation, including preservation strategy, custodial collection efforts, document, review, and production 
  • Consulting with a telecommunications company to provide ongoing guidance on eDiscovery, information governance, and preservation strategy
  • Working with a telecommunications company to respond to and defend actions brought by regulatory agencies, including preservation strategy, custodial collection efforts, document review, and productions
  • Supporting a telecommunications company in a litigation matter in state court in Denver, Colorado, including preservation strategy, custodial collection efforts, document review, and productions
  • Supporting a major pharmaceutical company in a national products liability litigation, including addressing preservation strategy and information governance issues
  • Consulting with a multinational technology company to provide ongoing guidance on eDiscovery, information governance, and tooling enhancements 

Paul has also handled the following representative matters:

  • Consulting with a global chemical and plastics manufacturer during a seven-month bench trial over a contractual dispute with a business partner over the production of ethylene in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, resulting in the largest verdict in Alberta history on behalf of the client
  • Supporting a science-based agricultural technology company during a patent infringement trial in the Middle District of North Carolina, resulting in a favorable verdict for the client
  • Working with global pharmaceutical companies to conduct internal investigations, including fact investigation, document review, and drafting findings and recommendations
  • Supporting a global pharmaceutical company in national products liability litigation, including preservation strategy, custodial collection efforts, document review, and productio
