Will brings extensive experience in complex litigation discovery issues to his role at Redgrave.
As a former Assistant U.S. Attorney (AUSA) and Department of Justice (DOJ) Trial Attorney, Will’s experience includes litigating major financial crimes and complex civil litigation matters. He has conducted multiple jury and bench trials as first chair and briefed and argued before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Will has navigated a range of discovery issues in litigation, including developing and implementing policies to ensure compliance with discovery obligations and advising on the use of automated litigation tools in matters to maximize efficiency. Will’s background also includes resolving electronic evidence issues as the Western District of Oklahoma’s designated Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property AUSA.
At Redgrave, Will manages the entire discovery process and develops strategic discovery plans, handles fact development, drafts and argues briefs, motions, and pleadings, oversees witness interviews, and drafts and responds to discovery requests. He also identifies, evaluates, and advises clients on emerging technologies and tools. Will is a thought leader and speaker on various legal topics, including providing intensive training sessions on federal criminal tax prosecutions and the Electronic Communications Privacy Act.
In his role as an AUSA in the Western District of Oklahoma, Will served as eLitigation Coordinator and oversaw the eLitigation support unit. He also served as a Trial Attorney for the DOJ Tax Division and was part of the Attorney General’s Honors Program. Will received the Attorney General’s Distinguished Service Award in 2021. Following law school, Will served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Robert H. Henry of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
During law school, Will received the Joel Jankowsky Award, naming him the outstanding graduate of his law school class, and the Nathan Scarritt Prize for having the highest academic record. Will was an Articles Editor for the Oklahoma Law Review.
