Comprehensive eDiscovery Program Review and Defensibility Guidance

We were engaged by a large utility company to assist with implementing new eDiscovery processes and procedures, including reviewing the defensibility of the program and its alignment with industry best practices.

Our team conducted a comprehensive review of the proposed eDiscovery program and provided feedback on areas for enhancement.  We provided the company with defensibility guidance for collection and preservation processes and advice concerning updates to company policies, employee notifications, legal hold workflows and notices, and process FAQs.

In addition, we advised the company on the staffing and organization of the eDiscovery function within its legal department and helped define roles, responsibilities, and workflows.  With the new eDiscovery program in place, the client has enhanced its ability to address future discovery obligations.
