Redgrave partners Gareth Evans, Robert Keeling, and Ray Mangum will present at the Sedona Conference Working Group 1 Annual Meeting 2024, being held October 24-25, 2024, in Phoenix, AZ.
On Thursday, October 24, Gareth will be joined by Joe Guglielmo (Scott+Scott), Alex Khoury (Smith, Gambrell & Russell), and Robb Snow (Prevail Legal, Inc) to present “Drafting Team Updates: Privilege in Government Proceedings and Modern Collaboration Platforms.” The panel will discuss updates to membership on works in progress from the newly formed Privilege in Government Proceedings drafting team and from the Discovery of Modern Communications and Collaboration Platforms drafting team.
On Friday, October 25, Robert Keeling will moderate “Voices from the Bench: The Judicial Perspective for 2024 and Beyond.” The panel of judges includes Hon. Elizabeth Chestney (U.S. District Court - Western District of Texas), Hon. Lisa Cisneros (U.S. District Court - Northern District of California), Hon. Scott McCoy (Maricopa County Superior Court), Hon. Joel Richlin, and Hon. Juan Villasenor (Eighth Judicial District Court). The session will offer a judicial perspective on eDiscovery topics that took center stage in 2024, including artificial intelligence, hyperlinked files, ephemeral messaging applications, and negotiated ESI protocols.
On Friday, October 25, Ray Mangum will be joined by Kelly Atherton (Norton Rose Fulbright), Chad Roberts (eDiscovery CoCounsel, pllc), Daniel Stromberg (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), and Cristin Traylor (Relativity) to present “Generative AI’s Potential Impact on the Discovery Process.” The panel will discuss how artificial intelligence (AI) can impact the discovery process, including its benefits, pitfalls, and the latest changes.
