Selecting a review team is a strategic choice that can provide tangible benefits to companies facing significant investigation and litigation events.  We launched our Review & Analytics (“R&A”) practice to oversee and conduct strategic document reviews tailored to unique client and matter needs and to leverage the most defensible and efficient tools and workflows to achieve the best client outcomes.  Our R&A team has extensive experience in complex litigation management and document review and brings a robust, tech-savvy, and seamless approach to matters.

Learn more about our R&A team as they reflect on various aspects of document review, discuss important considerations for clients, and share a bit about themselves.

Theresa talks about database administration in eDiscovery.

What excites you about providing these services to clients?

Every project is truly unique.  Data source types and technology challenges, along with requirements, restrictions, timelines, budgets, and expectations, vary and are all matter specific.  Finding solutions to match each project and searching for custom workflows to optimize a database to meet project-specific needs is akin to solving a puzzle.  I enjoy the challenge as well as the reward of completing the puzzle.

What can clients expect when working with you and the Review & Analytics team?

Clients can expect to collaborate with a team of highly analytical individuals who are dedicated and excited about finding appropriate solutions to their issues.  Our team analyzes what the client needs and brings decades of experience to advise on what works, what does not, and what is possible to help navigate the ever-changing technology landscape and ever-changing rules of discovery in order to reach the optimal outcome.

What technology can you not live without?

Excel spreadsheets.  When working in a database, I often export results to Excel to analyze the data.  In my personal life, I manage almost everything—from budgets to calendars and lists—in Excel.
